Objectives of the Course .This course is designed to advance students’ translation strategies and competencies, with particular emphasis on the conventions of English and Turkish legal discourse. It provides a systematic introduction to specialized legal terminology and the syntactic and stylistic features characteristic of legal texts. Through this focus, students will develop the ability to produce accurate and contextually appropriate translations of legal documents in both directions, from English to Turkish and from Turkish to English. In addition, the course offers in-depth training in terminology research and the development of specialized glossaries, drawing on authoritative and domain-specific sources.
