Objectives of the Course This course aims to enhance students’ familiarity with the fundamental translation terms and translation categories, the effective strategies and tactics in translation, the basic concepts of translation in practice and theory, and the role of culture in translation.
Course Content This course introduces basic concepts in translation studies and helps students develop awareness about the role of culture in translation and interpreting.
