Objectives of the Course	The purpose of the course is to examine the development of Turkish political life with views from the political, sociological, economic and ideological realities, from the transition to the multi-party system in the 1950s to our day. Within the specified period, Turkish political life will be examined through some contemporary norms, institutions, values and considerations such as democratic values, multi-partyism, fundamental rights and freedoms, civil politics, pluralism, democratic cultural heritage and son on and so forth.
