Objectives of the Course This course is a continuation of the previous Comparative Politics I (CP I) course. Focusing on the various democratic institutions, offices and processes in its previous course, the CP II is devoted to the analysis of political culture, political participation, political movements and political communication (as topics at the junction of politics and sociology often) with a look at their variations across regions of the world. The course maintains with a comparative analysis of political institutions in a number of democratic country cases too like the US, UK and Germany and touches on some leading subjects from public administration as well.
