2 Identify different types of financial decisions
3 Differentiate between different forms of business organizations
4 Understand the main financial goal
5 Understand the financial environment, the role of financial markets and institutions
6 Understand the capital allocation process
7 Understand interest rates and their structure
8 Understand and identify different types of financial statements
9 Understand and interpret the basic financial statements related with the financial position and performance of a business
10 Understand financial analysis, its types and conduct ratio analysis with the common ratios
11 Understand the cost of money
12 Use timeline to model cash flows and find present and future values of cash flows
13 Understand bonds, their types, and key features and apply time value of money (TVM) methods in bond valuation
14 Understand risk and risk-return tradeoff
15 Measure risk using statistical methods
16 Differentiate between stand-alone and portfolio risk and understand diversification
