Objectives of the Course This course covers the application of basic statistical concepts using computer-assisted tools; the organization, summarization and visualization of data, and the performance of basic statistical analyses.
Course Content Introduction to statistics, data types and scales, data organization, frequency distributions, graphs, measures of central tendency and dispersion, fundamentals of probability, normal distribution, sampling, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, correlation, and computer-based application of simple linear regression.
