Objectives of the Course To enable students to identify an original research topic in Political Science and Public Administration, construct a research question and theoretical framework, collect data using qualitative or quantitative research methods, analyze the data, and write and present a capstone project according to academic standards.
Course Content This course covers the determination of research topic and problem, construction of theoretical framework and research design, literature review, identification of methodology and data collection tools, field/archival work or data set analysis, discussion of findings, writing conclusion and policy recommendations, and oral defense of the project.
