Objectives of the Course Learning the fundamental accounting concepts and the principles of financial accounting
Course Content Definition and significance of accounting, users of accounting information, generally accepted accounting concepts and principles, financial statements, double-entry bookkeeping and recording rules, journalization of transactions and postings to ledger, unadjusted trial balance, adjusting process, chart of accounts (Uniform (Türkiye) chart of accounts), adjusted trial balance, preparing financial statements, accounting cycle, the closing process, merchandising operations, merchandise inventory, internal control and cash management
