Objectives of the Course
|
The aim of this course is to enable students to apply Historic Building Information Modeling (HBIM) for the documentation, analysis, conservation, and management of historic buildings. The course covers laser scanning, photogrammetry, point cloud processing, parametric modeling of historic elements, and digital documentation workflows for conservation and restoration projects.

|
This course covers the principles of Historic Building Information Modeling (HBIM), point cloud processing, laser scanning and photogrammetry, Scan-to-BIM workflows, creation of parametric BIM families, Levels of Development (LOD) and Information (LOI), digital documentation of historic buildings, BIM applications in conservation and restoration, and digital heritage management.
