Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to enable students to model interior construction systems using Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies and develop parametric building components in a digital environment. The course focuses on modeling architectural elements in Autodesk Revit while improving BIM-based coordination, documentation, and information management skills.
Course Content This course covers BIM fundamentals, Autodesk Revit interface, parametric modeling, modeling of interior construction components, family creation, construction detailing, 2D and 3D documentation, quantity take-off, drawing sheet preparation, and BIM-based project management.
Course Methods and Techniques Lectures, hands-on computer laboratory sessions, project-based learning, individual exercises, digital modeling practices, and critiques.
