Objectives of the Course
|
The aim of this course is to enable students to understand the fundamental principles of electrical, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, and energy systems that provide environmental comfort in buildings and to integrate these systems into interior architectural design.

Course Content
|
This course covers building electrical systems, lighting design, water supply and drainage systems, hot water systems, HVAC systems, fire protection systems, insulation, energy efficiency, sustainable building technologies, and smart building systems from an interior architecture perspective.

|
Lectures, technical drawing reviews, case studies, project evaluations, student presentations, and classroom discussions.
