Objectives of the Course
|
This course aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to analyze and solve interior architecture problems with a primary focus on spatial organization, ergonomics, and functionality. Through theoretical exploration, critical discussion, and hands-on application, students will develop a comprehensive understanding of design processes, user needs, and technical methodologies. The course fosters analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and effective communication of design concepts through various representation techniques, including technical drawing, model-making, digital modeling, and visualization.

Providing the initial knowledge and skill sets as processes and inputs for interior design:
Color and space
Spatial precedent example review and analysis
User and site analysis
Developing a conceptual approach
Space arrangement, vertical and horizontal circulation
Natural lighting and ventilation
Basic ergonomics
Blending digital and analog drawing models with artificial intelligence
Visual and verbal presentation techniques
