Objectives of the Course The purpose of this course is to continue learning the Java programming language and its principles by progressing to more advanced concepts and features. Focusing on the Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigm, the course aims to develop proficiency in Java programming and to provide an understanding of Java-based analysis, design, development, and debugging techniques. Throughout the course, students are introduced to fundamental OOP concepts, including classes, objects, encapsulation, inheritance, and interfaces. Additional topics covered include graphical user interface (GUI) components, file input/output (I/O), exception handling, and recursion.
Course Content Application of methodologies related to classes, inheritance, interfaces, object-oriented design, and development in software development and testing
Design of graphical user interfaces (buttons, text components, drawing, etc.)
Reading and writing input/output files, exception handling, and recursion
Some common algorithms used in search and sorting problems
Course Methods and Techniques Conveyance of information, discussion and application
