Dersin Amacı The aim of this course is to enable students to understand the fundamental concepts of database management systems and the principles of relational database design, to acquire the skills to create, manage, and query databases using SQL Server, and to perform data definition, data manipulation, and data control operations with SQL while developing database applications.
Dersin İçeriği This course covers database concepts, database management systems, database design, the entity–relationship model, and normalization. Students learn the installation and use of SQL Server, SQL data types, data integrity, and constraints. SQL Data Definition Language (DDL), Data Manipulation Language (DML), and Data Control Language (DCL) commands are applied. Querying single and multiple tables, functions, grouping operations, and subqueries are practiced through hands-on applications.
