Objectives of the Course Course Objective
The aim of this course is to improve the knowledge and skills acquired in Occupational Health and Safety I by enabling students to identify and analyze occupational hazards in different working environments, apply safe working practices, understand occupational health and safety management systems, and evaluate sector-specific occupational health and safety applications.

Occupational hygiene, workplace surveillance, workplace measurements, safety in lifting and conveying equipment, working at heights, confined space safety, work permit systems, office ergonomics and working with display screen equipment, TS EN ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, emergency and disaster management, environmental safety, sector-specific occupational health and safety practices, occupational accident investigation, root cause analysis, and the development of a safety culture.
Course Methods and Techniques Teaching Methods and Techniques
The course is delivered online through synchronous learning. Teaching methods include lectures, question-and-answer sessions, discussions, case studies, problem-solving activities, legislation reviews, and analysis of real occupational accidents. Digital learning materials and practical examples are used to support students in developing occupational health and safety awareness and professional competencies.

Exams Dersin değerlendirilmesi; bir ara sınav (%40) ve bir yarıyıl sonu sınavı (%60) ile yapılacaktır. Sınavlar, Ankara Bilim Üniversitesi Ölçme ve Değerlendirme Esasları doğrultusunda çevrim içi olarak gerçekleştirilecektir.
