Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to develop students' academic reading and writing skills in English by enabling them to critically analyze academic texts, communicate effectively in written academic contexts, and apply the principles of academic integrity in producing and using information. The course also aims to enhance students' language proficiency to support their academic, professional, and personal development.

academic text analysis,
making inferences,
contextual vocabulary guessing,
text organization,
response, opinion, problem-solution, cause-effect and argumentative essays,
paraphrasing, summarizing and citation,

critical reading and academic writing skills.
