Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to provide undergraduate psychology students with the opportunity to observe and apply the theoretical knowledge and fundamental psychological skills they acquire during their education in real-life settings. During their internships, students gain experience in psychological assessment, reporting, ethical principles, institutional procedures, and professional roles and responsibilities by observing professional processes in institutions where psychology is practiced (hospitals, counseling centers, rehabilitation centers, forensic institutions, educational institutions, etc.).
Course Content Bu ders kapsamında öğrenciler psikoloji alanında hizmet veren bir kurumda en az 20 iş günü ve günde 8 saat olacak şekilde uygulamalı staj gerçekleştirir. Staj sürecinde öğrenciler kurum işleyişini gözlemleme, psikolojik değerlendirme süreçlerini inceleme, vaka toplantılarına katılma, raporlama süreçlerini öğrenme ve etik ilkelere uygun şekilde mesleki uygulamaları tanıma fırsatı bulurlar. Staj süreci boyunca öğrenciler gözlem notları tutar, staj raporu hazırlar ve akademik danışmanlarına sunarlar.
