Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to introduce students to the principles and methods of experimental psychology, enabling them to understand scientific research, design and evaluate psychological studies, apply ethical research practices, and effectively read and write research reports while exploring the application of experimental methods across major areas of psychology.
Course Content This course focus on fundamental and practices of research in psychology. Firstly, some general aspects of science and theory construction (such as the features of experimental and non- experimental methods, ethical issues in research, and how to read and write research reports) are described and discussed. Then, these methodological topics are presented in the context of actual research problems.
Course Methods and Techniques Face to face instruction in English language will be performed through books and power point presentations

3 Apply experimental psychology methods to major areas of psychological inquiry, such as perception, attention, problem solving, individual differences, social psychology, and human factors, and evaluate how research methods are used to investigate these topics.
