Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to introduce the diagnosis and assessment approaches to clinical psychology and teach about the different psychotherapy techniques.
Course Content This course is designed to develop a perspective that helps understand the processes Clinical Psychology has undergone from past to present, what clinical evaluation, observation, interview, and measurement techniques are, different types of clinical interventions such as psychodynamic, humanistic, cognitive-behavioral psychotherapies, and the clinical dimensions in child, health, neuropsychological or forensic contexts.
Course Methods and Techniques The course will be conducted in the classroom through face-to-face interaction. Visual, auditory, reading/writing, and project-based education and teaching techniques will be used.
