Objectives of the Course This introductory course is intended to offer an overview of the basic concepts,
issues and theories in western philosophy from a historical-thematic perspective.
Course Content This course introduces the general nature of philosophical thought, its goals and its basic methods from a historical-thematic perspective. After a brief discussion on the nature and branches of philosophy, the course will investigate the major theoretical
positions about the fundamental questions on moral philosophy, philosophical study of being and reality and philosophy of knowledge.
